Dogs could be fixated at almost anything: slippers, wood, leaves, stones, food, toys… And the list could go on and on and on. But just like cats, most dogs can’t resist the sight of the good old ball. If you try to distract a dog from playing with his toy, you might want to try interrupting him with a ball. It usually works, and it’s almost always available.
Speaking of balls, there is this one dog who is obsessed with them. Other than that, he absolutely loves playing fetch outdoors. Try adding snow into the equation, and you’ll have one confused little pup – at least for this dog in the video below. Let me explain:
In the video below is a playful Shiba Inu dog, who is excited at the thought of playing fetch (with balls) in the snow. Instead of using a regular ball, his owner picked up some of the snow, formed it into a ball, and began throwing them on the dog’s direction. Thinking that they were regular balls, the dog attempted to retrieve every snowball thrown on his way but was 100% unsuccessful. No matter how hard he tried, or how fast he made it to the ball – he couldn’t retrieve it! It disappears no matter what!
Indeed, he’s a playful and competitive boy as you’ll notice in the video that he kept on playing the game, despite his ‘fails’, and he didn’t even seem to notice! In fact, he kept on barking urging his human to throw more snowballs on his way so that he could ‘retrieve’ them! Nonetheless, he seems to enjoy every minute of it and that’s probably all that matters.
Watch him play fetch with snowballs by pressing the play button below. You may thank me later. Enjoy!
