One of the most touching moments is when a grown man starts crying because of a surprise he has received. It goes to show that men can be sensitive, and whenever they are surprised with good news about the things and people they hold closest to their heart, they can’t help but bawl like a baby.
A man who fell for a dog he knew only for a short time, had this same reaction, and the video of it, went viral, of course. His manly tears were induced by surprising news he received regarding Toby, the rescue dog they were fostering on behalf of Band for Animal.
Toby was found by mechanics working at an auto repair shop somewhere in South Korea. He wandered inside perhaps due to the cold weather; the local animal shelter rescued him. But the shelter was overcrowded, and so he had to stay in an outdoor kennel, in the middle of winter. Good thing, Band for Animal saved Toby from this ordeal.
He was flown to the US where he was arranged to stay with Ann Hoang and her husband temporarily. They were thinking of adopting a second dog, but they were uncertain if they can handle having a second furry friend in their house, so they tried fostering first.
When Toby arrived, he was very shy. He wouldn’t even come out of his crate at first. When he mustered the courage to do so, he just stood outside looking at everyone. When night time came, Toby started warming up to Hoang’s husband. Toby also started playing around with their other dog as if they have known each other for years. Hoang’s husband and Toby started falling for each other.
Hoang realized that she had to adopt Toby for her husband, as Toby parting ways with him would break his heart. He arranged for the Band for Animal representative to pretend as if they were adopting Toby, and would hand out a card to let Hoang’s husband know that they can keep the pup. His reaction was priceless.
