We’d be short of all sorts of adorable puppies if dogs didn’t give birth. Vets advocate the spay and neuter program, but this doggie managed to pop one out before getting spayed.
Lucy’s a chihuahua who’s loved and adored by her owner, Katherine. It’s the kind of love a parent gives to an offspring, and anyone would bloom under that kind of love.
Lucy got pregnant, and after a whole night of contractions, hooman mom Katherine decided to bring her to the vet for assistance.
The single puppy Lucy’s carrying was too big for her to do a normal delivery. The vet advised a C-section, and mom Katherine bid her beloved dog a safe delivery.
A few minutes later, Lucy gave birth to a son named Bo. The lone pup came into the world fighting, even if the vet wasn’t sure he’d make it.
The vet went out to give Katherine the good news – both dogs survived, and can be brought home in a couple of hours.
Katherine couldn’t stop her tears and hugged the doc in thanks. She was so worried about Lucy, but now, thanks to Dr. Kraft, she’s coming home with Lucy and Bo.
Excellent work, doc, and good job, mama Lucy! We’re positive that your hoomans made sure there’ll be no future “accidental” pregnancies ahead.
Lucy and Bo shared a warm moment post-surgery, and the newborn hooligan immediately sought mama out for sustenance.
We just know Lucy’s gonna be a good mom to Bo. She has great role models in her adoptive parents, and we just know that love will be passed on to her son.
This is Bo now, and he loves playing with his dad, a pomeranian. No wonder you’re so big, pup! On to epic adventures and happy memories for you and the family!
