Philadelphia hosts the Neshoba County Fair yearly. This is where family and groups of people from Philadelphia get the chance to hang out, enjoy food, and have fun. But in 2018, the life of a rescue puppy will change forever.
This after National Football League (NFL) veteran Peyton Manning decided to adopt the pooch. Although the veteran is not originally from Philadelphia, Manning visits the place from time to time to visit his relatives. Manning eventually retired from professional football in 2016 after leading Super Bowl to a championship.
The Neshoba County Fair is close to Manning’s heart. Ever since he was a child, he was here every year. For him, it was one of the best memories he had as a child. That said, Manning likewise lets his children experience such activities. That is why they attend the yearly tradition as a family.
In their 2018 visit, it was extra special because they went to the fair as a family but went home with another family member – a dog. This started when a Philadelphia citizen saw a puppy being sold at the festival for $100. The puppy looks thin and was anxious about his surroundings.
Since he pitied the pooch, the concerned citizen bought the pooch to the man selling it. The concerned citizen, though, could not keep the pooch because the place he is renting does not allow pets. A struck of good fate happened when the man saw Manning in the fair. The man asked the NFL veteran if he could adopt the pooch.
All alone, the children of Manning were already enjoying their moment with the pooch. When Manning saw that his children are playing with the pooch, he agreed to adopt the dog. Manning’s children exploded in happiness. But if there should be one who should be happy the most, it would be the pooch because he now has a family.
