A dog would always try to protect their human as well as their entire family. They will go to extreme lengths to make sure their loved ones are safe. They are the perfect embodiment of the so-called unconditional love.
A Maremma mix named Clover surely knows how to express unconditional love.
The snow-white fluffy dog made quite a buzz on television. She was reported for surprising everyone with her quick and timely response to an emergency.
Her mom, Haley Moore, was had an emergency during their routine walk. That afternoon, Haley felt that something. But she just brushed it off.
They are now on the side of the road when Haley collapsed and started to have a seizure. Luckily, the security camera of their neighbor was there to record everything.
As soon as Haley collapsed, Clover quickly came to her side. Like a seasoned alert dog, she rushed to check if her mom is okay. But then Haley did not respond as she remained lying on the snowy sidewalk.
Luckily, a car was passing through the same street. Clover, being a fast-thinker, quickly positioned herself in the middle of the road to stop the car. All the while, her gaze did not leave her mom.
Dryden Oatway, the car driver, immediately halted his vehicle when he saw Clover blocking his way. It was then that he noticed Haley lying from a distance. He approached the woman at once to check if she was still responsive.
Being the protective dog that she is, Clover was barking at Dryden but kept her distance so as not to go and scare the man away. She appeared to be confused with what Dryden was doing with her mom. All she knows now is that her mom needs help. And Dryden is the only one who could help them in their current predicament.
Clover’s attention never left her mom. And that truly impressed Dryden.
After getting the care she needed, Haley finally woke up in an ambulance. At first, she got confused with what’s going on. She cannot recall what actually happened when she collapsed.
Despite not remembering anything, Haley is still very proud of Clover for putting her life on the line and calling for help. Now, she believes she’s much braver in facing everything as long as her Clover is by her side.
