The stereotype of Pit Bulls is that they are fierce dogs and this thought has existed for a long time already. Only a few individuals know that this is not true and that pit bulls are not always fierce and fearless. In fact, this breed also knows fear as well.
A good example is this male pittie that was lounging on the porch when the rain came. His owner aided him in recognizing that there was nothing to fear about this. His demeanor shifted swiftly from fear to excitement, and you could see he’d be comfortable with rain in the future.
However, as each drop of rain fell, the pittie became fearful and backed away. He got even closer to his father in order to receive the emotional support he needed.
