A woman from a far area of South Korea phoned town rescuers for assistance with a dog. She explained that the dog originally emerged in their area approximately two months ago and that she has been feeding her ever since. However, no matter how many attempts she actually made, she was unable to earn the dog’s trust.
Each day, she offered her food a couple of times. She befriended and told the dog that she did not intend any harm. She did everything she could to earn its trust, but her attempts were fruitless.
Since its arrival in the area, the stray dog remained in the same location. She sat in the center of the road for nearly the entirety of the day, refusing to move even when it rained or snowed. She stood stationary as vehicles passed, but she always pursued any blue truck.
The rescuers wanted to discover what made blue trucks so unique, so they asked around, but no one knew anything about the dog or the blue truck. Residents informed them that there used to be a lot in the neighborhood, but the majority of truckers now also drove vehicles with colors other than blue.
Just as their investigation appeared to be coming to a halt, an informant came forward with vital information on the dog. He stated that he observed a blue truck pulled over on the shoulder of the road shortly after midnight. Within seconds, a man in his forties exited his vehicle with his dog. And while the dog was distracted, he dashed back to his truck and drove away, leaving the unfortunate creature alone.
After learning the story, the rescuers, the woman who requested assistance, and another neighbor immediately set out to rescue the dog. They were unsuccessful in their first effort but succeeded in their second. Finally, the dog was secured.
The dog remained at the veterinarian’s office for treatment and a few weeks more while she sought a new home. And not long afterward, a family of three siblings approached and offered her a loving permanent home. They renamed her Dooli and gave her a new beginning.
