Some dogs don’t like a proper bath. They like water and playing in it, but not so much on getting cleaned with it. These Mini Dachshunds are an exception, and that is worthy of mention.
Three things make this exception praiseworthy. First, they’re too small to be in a tub. Second, they actually race to get in first every single time.
Third, they’re dogs, so their love for clean water is incredible in itself. These pets are definitely pampered and loved, given the free reign and the many other perks they have access to.
The dogs started from the base of the stairs and once the gate was opened, the race was on. The pets ran so fast that it’s incredible they didn’t slip and tumble in their mad rush.
Up to the bathroom they went, and into the bathtub they dove. The latter was a bit hard to achieve because of their size, and both dachshunds struggled to clear the tub.
One managed to get in, but the other was left leaping and bounding without the desired results. Mom finally decided to lend her pup a helping hand, and pretty soon, both pets were in their mini pool.
They swam and enjoyed the warm water. They knew that the sweet-smelling stuff will come later, and those heavenly rubs too. It’s the perfect prelude to bedtime, and they loved it.
Mom filmed her babies while they had fun. It’s her quiet time with them, and she takes every opportunity to bond with her adorable and energetic pets.
Their pure joy because of a simple nightly ritual warms the heart. It says a lot about what these doggos value, and it’s that the little things matter. We couldn’t agree more with that mindset.
