Golden Retrievers love ice cream. They’re known to have this love for sweets to match their sweet souls. Fortunately, we hoomans love to give puppies whatever they want.
The reason may be because puppies have a distinctive way of thanking us, and we love it. In our opinion, their innocent acts of gratitude are the strongest form of magic they wield.
In this story, this young Golden Retriever’s reaction to ice cream showed how truly grateful puppies are. It’s not surprising, given they have no qualms expressing how they feel thru their actions.
This young puppy was out with her dad for a walk when a nice lady approached and gave the furball a taste of ice cream.
What’s supposed to be a few licks turned into a full-blown gobble session, complete with body-shaking and tail-wagging. The fluffball lay flat on the ground, hind legs spread as wide as they could go.
Dogs are completely clueless about society’s rules, so this puppy didn’t know she’s not supposed to consume the whole cup. She lapped it all off anyway, and we’re loving it!
Grateful pup
We’ve seen many clips where dogs acted goofy after they found something like a favorite toy or even the scent of another dog. In this case, what got this puppy all wonky was an ice-cream treat.
We couldn’t be happier for this fluffball. If we were actually in her place, we’d probably gobble that treat as fast as we could too, never mind the rules.
She was confident it was okay, considering the lady holding the cup was so generous with her kind words and praises. You’re certainly a lucky one, pet!
