Some dogs may be born differently due to the changes that occur throughout their development inside their mother’s womb. Nonetheless, these canines are capable of unconditional love for their humans. Being different makes them unique and enhances their beauty.

Yogi, a Golden Retriever, possessed an endearing black tail that gave him a truly unique appearance. He was the sole pup in the litter with a unique tail. He was also the last to be adopted, and no one else appeared to be interested. As a result, when his current hooman recognized Yogi’s uniqueness, she knew she had to take him home.

The story of how Yogi’s hooman discovered him dates all the way back to 11 years ago, when she lost a daughter named Norah to a heart disease. Their entire family was going through a difficult time, and they knew they needed something to cheer them up. That is when they got Teddy, their first Golden Retriever.

The doggo brought so much joy to the family and undoubtedly assisted them in getting through difficult times. However, after a while, they observed that Teddy appeared to be depressed. As a result, his hooman decided to get another dog to provide Teddy with a sibling and someone to play with on a daily basis.

This is when Yogi entered the picture. At first, nothing about the pupper stood out except for his magnificent tail. However, as he reached the age of six months, his hooman noted that his face began to tilt more to the left. He also appeared to be perfectly healthy, but there was clearly something wrong with his left side.

Yogi was then taken to the vet to ensure he was not in any pain. This was the point when he was diagnosed with a somatic mutation in his genes, which brought an effect on how he looked physically as he grew older. It is comparable to Down’s syndrome in humans.

Yogi’s appearance as a puppy had no effect on his ability to play, run, or love his amazing hoomans. He can also keep right up with Teddy, but Yogi prefers to be goofier compared to Teddy.

Their owner is passionate about sharing these doggos with the world, and both dogs have become a viral success on Tiktok, with thousands of people inspired by Yogi’s incredible energy.
