Dogs and their humans share an unmistakable bond. When that human is also their dad, it’s even more special. Just ask this young Golden Retriever, that simply adores her human father.
Hailey McCloud wanted to surprise her boyfriend. He got her a Louis Vuitton purse for Christmas last year, so she promised to get him his dream dog this year.
For the surprise to still happen, Hailey decided to give her boyfriend the gift six months earlier. Wise decision on her part, so good job, girl!
Hailey drove to Fresno, California to get the female puppy. She then drove back, not knowing if the surprise would go without a hitch.
Of course, something needed to happen when a surprise is about to go down. The boyfriend called to say he’ll be home at around 3:30 pm, instead of the usual.
Hailey got nervous, but then she stuck to her plan. Fortunately, everything went smoothly, and they got home before her boyfriend did.
As soon as her boyfriend saw the box and looked inside, he was overcome with emotion. He quickly got himself together and then picked his present up.
The puppy looked at her new dad with affection. We think these two knew they were gonna be bonded for life on that very first meeting.
The dog and her new dad shared an undeniable connection and mutual affection for each other. It’s simply beautiful to watch.
